Well hello there! Welcome to the new iteration of my blog. Fatshion Insider was truly my love for and desire to share outfits, inspiration and info on style beyond sample size. And I Get Dressed is the logical progression...tearing down the barriers between straight and plus size fashion and focusing on style.
I've learned so many things through blogging... about myself, the type of things I'm interested in writing about and sharing with you guys. I've always been of the position that your size has nothing to do with being stylish. Style is just style, you have it or you don't... the number inside your tag doesn't create a force field blocking good taste, a cool factor or the ability to be chic.
As I evolve, so does my blog. As much as I think it's important to be represented, to have places for plus girls to go to see great looking gals in inspiring clothes that look like them, I also think that creating a divide isn't what I'm about either. My readers come in all sizes and I appreciate that girls (and boys) size 0 or 32 get what I'm about and wearing.
So...I'm looking forward to sharing more with you! What I do, what I like, what pieces I need in my life and of course what I'm wearing. This remains a personal style blog but will include beauty, lifestyle and whatever else tickles my fancy. So much more to chat about, and I get dressed...

One dress, three ways.
Floral Print Dress: ASOS Curve, Gold Textured T-shirt: H&M (old), Leather Jacket: Simply Be, Klub Nico Booties c/o BarefootTess.com,
I shot this dress about two weeks ago, but the joys of technology zapped all of my photos into neverland! But, you guys have been asking me to show you multiple looks and I really wanted to do that with this dress so, viola - here it is, reshot just for you!
This dress is so versatile. Dress it up, dress it down...throw on combat boots, it all works!
Style tip: Sometimes just changing your accessories and shoes will give a singular piece like a dress a totally different vibe!
